We are delighted to announce a significant evolution of our 360 Aviation business.
With effect from 1st September 2020, 360 Aviation is proud to advise that we have been awarded a Coverholder binding authority agreement by AXA XL, a division of AXA, to write Aviation business in Australia.
This will enable us to expand our ability to write General Aviation and Hangarkeepers business within the scope of the permitted parameters. AXA XL security is a locally licenced entity- XL Insurance Company SE Australia Branch.
As a team, 360 have been working closely with AXA XL, both in Australia and Worldwide, to ensure we have a clear and sustainable approach to writing Aviation usiness in Australia. Our experienced 360 Aviation team will be able to benefit and call upon the great depth of knowledge and ability that AXA XL can provide.
We are excited to begin this carefully planned journey, which will provide local capacity to Insureds at a time when capacity is challenged. Our joint aim with AXA XL is to provide a high grade, reliable security provider, with a consistent approach to the General Aviation sector, in turn providing the coverage needed to protect the Insureds’ interests.
Our 360 model stands true to its core principles and we remain a broker facing market. 360 Aviation looks forward to providing even greater communication, support and service as we bring this new opportunity forward to be more relevant to our broker partners.

Following the recent decision of Swiss Re International SE, trading in Australia as Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo), to actively reduce exposures in Aviation globally, 360 Aviation are pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with CorSo to review expiring General Aviation risks falling due on or after 1 November 2019.
To further support the Aviation business, 360 have also announced the appointment of two staff members, which are critical to continue the best in class service and ability to support their Brokers.
From 1st November, Peter Freeman will join the team as National Underwriting Development Manager, and Sharyn Gough will provide expertise as Senior Underwriter for the 360 Aviation Team based in Brisbane.
Executive Director for 360 Aviation, Craig Davie, stated “This is a very exciting step for 360 Aviation. We are committed to delivering solutions to the Insureds’ in the shrinking domestic marketplace, and we look forward to providing protection to Insureds’ wherever possible. Quality delivery of a focused product is still our ethos and we have expanded our team with two very experience underwriters in Peter and Sharyn, in order to maintain our service standards to support our Brokers.”

The exit of CorSo has provided 360 with an opportunity to further expand our Aviation portfolio, and we are delighted to be able to compliment our growing list of products, to be more relevant to our broker partners.”

360 Underwriting Solutions is delighted to announce a further expansion to our business with the creation of an aviation underwriting division, 360 Aviation.
360 Aviation will begin operations with effect from 1st July 2018 and maintain our broker focused model. We are able to write all aspects of aviation insurance including: Airline, General Aviation with high and lower aircraft values, Airport Liability and Associated Aviation Liability risks.
