Life at 360
What were the first 30 days in your new role like?
Busy, exciting and probably a little surreal. Stepping into the ED role has given me the opportunity to look at our business through a different lens and think more broadly about where we want to go next. A big focus in the first month has been our people, making sure we have the right structure around them, while continuing to build momentum across some significant projects and opportunities for Farm & Regional.
What do you hope to achieve in the next 12 months at 360?
I want to keep building a business that our people are proud to be part of and that our brokers genuinely want to partner with. For Farm & Regional, that means successfully delivering our new system and product, continuing to grow our presence in the agricultural market, developing our people and creating new opportunities for them, while making sure we continue to challenge ourselves on what we can do differently and better.
Getting to know Jess
What is the one musician or band (dead or alive) that you would like to see?
Luke Combs. He’s my current obsession and has pretty much become the soundtrack to my life lately. I love country music, and there’s something about his songs that makes me think seeing him live, with a huge crowd singing along, would be pretty hard to beat.
If you had to host a dinner party with any 3 guests, who would they be?
My Babcia, David Attenborough and Steven Bartlett. I’d love the chance to fill my Babcia in on everything that’s happened and hear what she thinks of it all. I could listen to David Attenborough’s stories about the world for hours, and I’d love to pick Steven Bartlett’s brain on leadership, entrepreneurship and what he’s learnt from some of the incredible people he’s interviewed.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Languages. I love travelling and experiencing different cultures, so being able to speak to people anywhere in the world in their own language would be pretty hard to beat.
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
Poland. I have a strong family connection and Polish heritage, so I’d love the opportunity to spend a year there, properly immerse myself in the culture, learn more about where my family came from and experience the country as a local rather than a visitor.
