In December 2020, AUB and 360 Underwriting Solutions announced that as part of the acquisition and restructure of the Underwriting Agencies division, SURA Plant & Equipment Business would move under the new General Commercial Underwriting Division, within the 360 Group of Companies.

Over the course of the last year, we have devoted much of our attention to integrating the SURA Plant & Equipment business within the 360 Group; bedding down the renewal portfolio's, establishing a platform for future growth, and developing an IT solution for our products.

We proudly announce that effective November 2022, we will convert the SURA brand to create 360 Plant & Equipment Pty Ltd, and furthermore will provide our brokers with an online solution by launching the Plant & Equipment business on the 360 Compass Web Portal. We continue to offer the same comprehensive policies, backed by Allianz, with the bonus of an end-to-end electronic system, 360 Compass, built by eSentry Technologies.

360 Plant & Equipment will continue to be lead by Frank Solano, who is excited to drive the changes in his team. Frank states that “whilst our current servicing teams will not change, our team has been bolstered by additional experienced underwriters, and in addition, the new IT solution complimented by the comprehensive look and feel via the rebranded product and collateral also brings a fresh wave of excitement and motivation to the team – we are looking forward to continuing to provide the service you expect, from people you know.

Denis Morrissey, Founder and Managing Director of 360 Underwriting Solutions, confirms “We are excited to take the next steps to achieve scale and a more significant presence in the P&E market, as well as expediting the IT strategy for the business.”
